CGM Group UK was commissioned by a housing association to provide independent technical oversight for the design, installation, and handover of a 70 kWp rooftop Solar PV system installed at an assisted living facility in South Wales.
The scope of work included initial design verification and risk assessment to ensure the proposed system aligned with relevant standards and installation best practice. During the construction phase, on-site technical quality assurance inspections were carried out alongside liaison with the installation contractor to address any technical queries and ensure workmanship met the required specification.
Further support included review and verification of commissioning results, certification documentation, and final inspection of the completed installation to identify and resolve outstanding snags prior to project handover.
The project was successfully delivered, with the independent verification process providing assurance to the client that the system had been designed, installed, and commissioned to an appropriate technical standard.
