Tactical Advice

Tactical Advice is intended to support fire and rescue services and other responding agencies when dealing with incidents involving Solar PV, BESS, and EV infrastructure. We provide rapid, technically informed guidance to help responders understand system hazards, identify key risks, and consider appropriate operational tactics during an incident.

Support may include advice on system isolation considerations, hazard identification and operational constraints that may influence responder safety and decision-making. Where required, we can also assist in providing technical clarification during or after incidents to support investigation and learning.

The focus is clear, practical guidance that helps responders understand what they are dealing with, the risks involved, and the key factors that may influence safe and effective intervention.
